GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
REPLACEMENT POLICY
If, in exceptional circumstances, the ordered products cannot be delivered, Blue Danube Violins GmbH reserves the right to offer its customers similar products as to quality and price. The customer is free to accept or decline this offer.
RETENTION OF OWNERSHIP RIGHTS
Blue Danube Violins GmbH retains ownership of all items sold until payment is received in full.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Unless there is a structural defect of the item which was purchased, all sales are final. In certain cases, instruments and bows may be brought back to be sold under consignment.
WARRANTY
Defective products are to be brought or sent to us at Blue Danube Violins GmbH, Strozzigasse 31, 1080 Wien. Please provide a copy of your invoice. The shipping costs will be overtaken by Blue Danube Violins GmbH in such cases.
If the product is defective, Blue Danube Violins GmbH will repair or replace the product, at no costs for the customer.
Warranty claims cannot be made in cases of natural wear and tear or for damages that are directly the result of negligence or misuse by the customer. Warranty does not cover the damages caused by improper use of the items or the damages caused through the use of the wrong cleaning and care products. Damages due to extremes of temperature and humidity absolves us of any warranty.
Please note: string instruments are made of wood and wood is a natural product. The spectrum of wood coloration and structure is very wide and as such, every piece of wood will be unique. Differences in coloration, grain structure, flaming, etc. cannot be considered structural defect of the products and customers are not entitle to replacement.
PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy is important to us. We will not disclose your personal information to any third party unless you have consented to such disclosure or where we are required to do so by law. We will not use or share your personal information (i.e. name, phone number, address, credit card) without your consent; we will only use your information for the specific purchase which was made.
APPLICABLE LAW
In case of disputes, the law applicable is Austrian law.

We offer expert consultation on the commissioning, purchase or rental of violins, violas, cellos, double basses and bows in all sizes and price ranges. We also offer cases and accessories.
Telephone inquires are always welcome and payment must be received before shipment can be made. We ship worldwide. We accept credit card payments (VISA and MasterCard), as well as bank wire and Western Union transfers.
Customers are welcome to visit our shop location in Vienna, Austria.
What is a trial agreement?
How are the instruments shipped?
The items are shipped directly from our shop in Vienna, Austria or from our European suppliers. We ship via Austrian Post. Shipment via FedEx, UPS and other major international carriers possible per request. Please allow one to three weeks for delivery. We wait until payment is received before we ship instruments, bows or cases.
Can an instrument, bow or case that was purchased be returned to you?
