Incorrectly labelled as Zhotovil (maker) Cestmir Musil, Praze (Prague) 1936. The length of this violin’s back is 36 cm. Ebony pegs and Hill-Style tailpiece with four integrated fine tuners and a rosewood chin rest. This violin has recently been restored by one of Central Europe’s top luthiers and is sounding spectacular. The attractive golden to mid-brown varnish presents a top of narrow and medium grains, while the back of two pieces is dramatic in its wide flaming in downward slants. The ribs, scroll and neck are of the same material as the back. Recently restored and put into top condition, powerful and clear tone.
