Description
Violin by Max Sandner. Amati model. Made in 1907 in Ostrava, Austro-Hungary (today’s Czech Republic). The varnish is a light brown over a yellow ground. The violin has ebony fittings and its top displays medium grains that are regular while the back is of two pieces.. The corpus length is 35,9 cm. Normal wear for a violin that is already more than 110 years old. Very nice sound that we characterize as Central European.
