Italian violin made in 1949 by Sandro Cavazzo in Ravenna. Ebony fittings with a Hill Style tailpiece. Very distinctive reddish-brown and gold varnish that is antiqued. Corpus length of 35.5 cm. Titanium end button and fine tuner on the E string. After 70 years the violin is still is excellent condition and has developed a noble and burnished quality of sound throughout. Highly recommended for advanced and professional players seeking an Italian sound from mid-20th century instrument at an affordable price. Comes with a certificate.
