Violin by Ulrike Glinsböckel made in 2020. Antonio Stradivari Messias 1716 model, with personalized edges and the scroll. The top comes from a very lightweight spruce that was selected by the maker herself in 2001 in Latemar, near Botsen. The one-piece back is made out of Bosnian maple from 1990. Ebony and maple purfling stripes hand-made by the maker, which is a very difficult process, the black will always keep its beautiful color and the instrument is even more save of beginning cracks. Thin oil varnish over a casein ground. The varnish is not a hard cover of the instrument, but allows the instrument to get Patina by the the use of it. Measurements: body length – 355mm; upper bout – 167mm; middle bout – 108mm; lower bout – 208mm; top – 15,1mm high; back – 14,6mm.
